2 Months

1 MONTH OLD!

I can't believe my baby girl is already a month old!! We love her so much, can't imagine life with her!

Nicknames: Squeaky, Squeaker, Ari, Rosebud, Monster, Snuggle Bug, Honey Bear 

People say: I am beautful, and I am so tiny!

I am 7lbs 9oz (25th percentile) 20.75" long (75th percentile).

I can eat like a piggy, hold my head up by myself, stretch out so big reach for things (toys, Dad's beard. hair, faces. etc) scream like a banshee, sleep really well.

I recently went on my first outing (Eats of Eden), met my all cousins & future best friends, celebrated 2 holidays, (St Patrick's & Easter), went on my first shopping trip, and lots and lots of firsts.

I like being sung to, snuggles, mommy's milk, looking at/playing with cousins Olive and Kenedi, feeling Daddy's beard, looking at faces, naps, visitors.

I dislike car rides, my car seat, pooping.

Mom's favorite things about me are squeaky noises, giggles while sleeping, snuggles, nap time in bed, singing lullabies, fist out to poop, mini smiles, milk coma, & zombie arms while sleeping in bouncer.

Dad's favorite things about me are feeling his beard, always changing facial expressions (pirate face) snuggles, grunts and squeaks

Next month I am looking forward to making my debut at family parties, maybe sleeping in my own room, vaccinations, tummy time, playing more, sleeping less.

I don't remember...

if I ever posted this, I meant to but life is so busy!! We got an amazing entertainment center from Ikea in September. Its giant, has lots of organization & decorating potential, and we all around love it!

Latest Project in the Sampson Household

We inherited a beautiful dining room table and chairs from Skyler's Grandma Davis. It was incredibly scratched up and needed some work before we brought it into the house.

 I have to thank Jim & Heather for letting us bring the table to their house, use their patio & mouse sander, & let us keep the table there until the stain and varnish dried. You are the best family a girl could ask for!

Didn't Skyler do an amazing job?!? He is the best, I'm glad I have a handyman who knows how to do this type of stuff!

 We chose a darker (ebony) stain to match the rest of our furniture. We didn't realize the chair backs had wood slats so those are slated to be stained along with the stools we got! I will also eventually be recovering the chair seats, just need to find some cute fabric! I'm very happy to have a dining table again!!

Summer Twenty-Eleven!

It's been a busy summer!! I decided instead of writing a post on each thing we did I'd collage it all into one post. Hopefully I don't leave anything important out!!

I said goodbye to Eats at the end of June, after 8 years of working there! It was just too far to drive from Taylorsville! We went to Jeremiah's as a crew to say good bye. I miss you all!!

My blue baby (car) kicked the bucket in June. We got it fixed up and sold it. It was time. We are down to one car for a bit, but we got Skyler a motorcycle! He loves it! And its nice to be so close to work!

 Sky's brother Zach got married July 21. His bride, Jentry, is a doll! We love her so much and we are so glad to have her as part of the family! They were married in the Salt Lake temple, and it was a beautiful day! (oh and I made the aprons the girls are wearing in the pics in the middle..)

 Ben, Natalie, & Kenedi came out for the wedding. It was nice to see them for a few days!! And we hope they will be able to move back soon!!

 Sky turned 25 on August 5th. We celebrated Sunday by cooking his fav dinner and staying home and relaxing. For family celebration we had dinner at the Sampsons, went to PF Changs with the Davis', and Grandma & Grandpa Lund took us to the Roof. Where we took the picture above.

My favorite aunt, Becky, came in from North Carolina to get married! She and Frank were married August 5th. It was a fun day!! We always love when she comes out to see us!

Oh, and good news!! I got a JOB!!! I am working the Joann's in Taylorsville!! Dream job, right? I've been there about a month and so far I love it!!

We got tickets to see Joseph at Hale Center Theater. (They were part of Sky's bday present) It was amazing!! I think its my favorite cast I've seen. I forgot how much I love Hale, we will be for sure seeing more shows now that we are close! Maybe season tickets for Christmas?? 

My parents were able to come up several times in July/August. For Heather's shower, Becky's wedding and after Olive was born (see the post before about adorable baby Olive
