Elizabeth's Birthday Fun

October 3rd was little Miss Elizabeth's 13th Birthday!! The boys all went out to get shaves and celebrate that they were all together for Priesthood Session after 6 years of having missionaries out. The girls ( Karen, Natalie, & Elizabeth) were so kind to wait for me to get off work, and we went to Color Me Mine! For those who have never been there, its a ceramics place where you pick out your piece and paint it, then they fire it for you. Since Elizabeth was the birthday girl we let her pick out what we did for girls night. We had a blast!

I made a cookie plate for Santa for our future little tykes. Distant future, mind you. :D It was nice to bond with the girls and have so much fun!! Happy super late birthday Elizabeth!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!

So its my Dad's 50th Birthday today! I just want to tell him how much I love and appreciate him. He truly is the best Dad a girl could ask for, and I'm so blessed to have him. He's always been there to support me, no matter what and I want him to know he rocks! Love you Daddy!

Playing CatchUp

So a lot has happened since I've written last....I finally found my camera cord, so here are a few pics from Sky's Bday...

We had a Sushi night in July when Becky was visiting from Charlotte, we had a blast! Thanks Jim, Heather, Dan, and Amy for coming with us and making it so much fun!

Dan's Birthday was also in August and Mom and Dad came up and we threw him a surprise BBQ. He was so shocked he had no idea they were coming up. It was awesome! We had the party and Jim and Heather's cause they have an awesome park in the middle of their apartment complex.

Ben married Natalie August 22, 2009, and we all made the trip up to Boise, Idaho for the wedding. I only got a few pics before my camera died. It was a lot of fun, and very nostalgic for me and Skyler, lots of good memories from our wedding day :D The Boise Temple was so beautiful but so tiny!!!
Sky managed to cut his finger extremely bad at work last week. He had to go to the hospital and received 15 stiches to close it up. 10 inside and 5 outside. He got it really well, right across the inner knuckle, and hit the tendons. The stiches come out Monday.
We are currently starting the moving process once again. This time we will be living with Skyler's mom Kathy for several months while Skyler finishes school. I'll be sure to get pics of our place up before we tear it apart again. Skyler has decided to go through the Police Academy. He starts in February at Weber State and it goes til September. He wants to still finish his computer engineering degree, but he'd like to go into the Cyber Crime aspect of it.

That is all thats new for us right now! I'm still working at Eats and thats about it! Next week is the Wendover AirShow so I'll have more to blog about real soon!

Anniversary Weekend Getaway!

For our 1st Anniversary Sky booked us a few nights at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake. We stayed in the Phantom of the Opera Suite, and it was so beautiful!!! Mom, you requested pics, so here they are!

We also went to the Roof one night and had a very romantic dinner. They sat us right in front of te Temple! It was such a beautiful view, and fun to remember the good times we had there!

Happy First Anniversary!

Today is our first anniversary!! I can't believe it has been a year already! I feel like we were just barely kneeling across the altar from each other, but here we are! Here are a few of my favorite pics to celebrate the day!

CALIFORNIA!

A few weeks ago I went out to Glendora, CA for my cousin Rachel's wedding. It was a blast, its so fun so see my aunt and uncle, and all the cousins that live out there that I never see. I especially had fun playing with my cousin Steph's two cute little girls, Hailey and Camdyn. They are 4 and 9 months, and both so adorable!

The wedding day was beautiful, it rained a bit in the AM but the sun was shining by the time we were ready for the ceremony. It made for a pleasant, cool day. I made it out to the beach, but only for a few hours, to help my cousin Chris, with the awesome beach photography he took of Ray and Steve. That pic is of my beach sexiness, I forgot to take clothes other than my dress to the ceremony, cause didn't think how we were going straight to the beach :D So thanks Ray, for letting me borrow your PJ's! My fav part of the beach was when Chris was trying to get a portrait shot of Ray in her dress, but the train kept flapping in the wind...so I just crawled right under the top layer of the dress and held it out. Now how many assistants are innovative enough to do that? And not to mention tiny enough to not been seen at all! It was great! I had so much fun with everyone, although I missed Skyler like crazy. He wasn't able to make it out :( I made it back Sunday, safe and sound, and resumed normal life!
