UPDATES!

So its been quite a while since I've written any updates about us. Sorry about that, life has been crazy! Skyler got a job at Titanium Solutions, which is out by Salt Lake International. They work with mortgage companies and let people know their options when they are being foreclosed upon. He is a specialist and spends his days taking spanish speaking calls. The best part about the job is we now have full benefits!! I am working back at Eats of Eden a few days a week, and I love it! Its fun to be back in an environment I love. I'm waiting for summer so I can go back to full time.
We love our new apartment in Kaysville, we finally have it all unpacked and put together. No pics yet, my camera is dead. So thats is all that is new, but more to come later!

Valentine's Day Fun

Valentine's was a simple affair around our house this year, I had to work in the morning and afternoon, but skyler put together a nice dinner for us when I got home! He's such a sweetheart, and an amazing cook. After dinner we watched a few romantic comedies and cuddled. All around a great V-day.

New Year, New Things!

So its been a bit since I've blogged, I have been crazy busy at work, but I'll try to get everything caught up! December celebrated a marathon work schedule for Skyler and I, both of us working nearly everyday, with me pulling double shifts 5 days a week. We had a very quiet Christmas and New Years, due to the fact that we both were working pretty much the whole time. Our parents did come to see us Christmas Day, which was awesome! We love you all so much!here we are about 1am Christmas Eve/Christmas morning, checking out what Santa brought us

The day after Christmas was our 6 month anniversary, I cannot believe it has been 6 months already! I'm so blessed to have Skyler, and we grow to love each other more each day. We are having a blast, and I couldn't imagine life without Skyler now.

In other news, we found an apartment in Kaysville. We will be moving there next Saturday, the 17th. We are so excited!! It will be awesome to be closer to family and friends, and we won't feel so isolated anymore! And yes, we will come to family parties more often now ;) We both are looking for new jobs, Skyler in the data entry field, or anything to do with computers, and I'll be looking for another waitressing job for the time being. We are trying to arrange things so I can go back and finish up beauty school, so I can start working as a stylist. It should only take 6 to 9 months to finish once I am able to go full time! Skyler will be starting at the Western Governor's University online to finish up his associates degree.

Well I think that is pretty much all for us lately, but I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year!

Christmas Time!!

So I finally got around to decorating our tree. I put it up a couple weeks before Thanksgiving, but Sky said we couldn't put stuff on it til December.
This past Monday, we took a trip to Salt Lake to help Jim and Heather move to their new apartment. When we were done there we met Amy Lou down at Temple Square and wandered around to see the lights! They were so beautiful this year!! We nearly
froze to death, but it was worth it!!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
