This year Valentine's was so wonderful for us!! I started out the day by sleeping in (my day off). Then at lunch, I dropped off Sky's present while he was out...
I made him a Candy Bouquet! I really wanted to do something a little different for him this year. Then I snuck over to my lil' brudder, Dan's, house and woke him and made him go to Olive Garden for lunch and out shopping. It was fun to hang out with him while I was waiting for Sky to get off work! Finally 5pm rolled around and I went to pick Skyler up. I decided this year I was going to plan our date and tell him nothing about it! I'm pretty sure he was going crazy by the time I picked him up. I blindfolded him, and drove us over to our favorite sushi place, Windy's
Sukiyaki. It was so delish!! We then wandered over to Target for a bit to let dinner settle and headed to Applebee's for dessert. We got it to go, mainly because we didn't want to wait an entire hour for just dessert :D We got a super yummy huge cookie sundae! I highly recommend it!
We didn't exchange any presents this year, besides the whole card and flowers norm, but that because we are using the money for a Valentine's/Second Honeymoon!! We'll be leaving sometime in May, just before our third anniversary!
